About Me
I am Amy Yokel, a mother of two young children and someone who is passionate about providing support and empowering new parents in the postpartum period. As someone who experienced my own challenges navigating the early days of parenthood, I know the benefits that hands-on physical and emotional support can offer at such a pivotal time in life.

I have received training as a Postpartum Doula through CAPPA and am certified in infant CPR and first aid. I am available for both daytime and overnight support through the postpartum period. Services can include:

Emotional and physical support for mother’s recovery

Infant care while mother rests

Support for infant feeding, including breastfeeding, pumping and bottle-feeding (breastmilk or formula)

Education for the family on mother care, baby care and feeding methods

Light housework, such as laundry, dishes, etc.

Food prep and meal planning
Services
Daytime Support
Visits take place between 10:00 and 3:00 and provide time for mother to rest, take a shower or do whatever is needed to recharge both physically and mentally! Up to four shifts per week, 4-hour minimum per shift.

$25/hour
Overnight Support
Sleep is so important as you adjust to caring for a newborn. I provide 8-hour overnight shifts to care for baby while parents get quality sleep through the night. Up to two nights per week.

Postpartum Prep Visit
This is a one-time visit ahead of baby's arrival to ensure you are comfortable and confident heading into your postpartum time with baby. I will offer practical advice for setting up your space and help you develop your own plan for postpartum peace.

$125/visit
(2-3 hours)
Services are available to families living in the Greater Cincinnati area.
